The crescent shape or lune is a shape created by two intersecting circles, also described as a crescent. As a child, seeing a crescent moon during the lunar month of August symbolized excitement, as one awaits the arrival of Mid-Autumn Festival, a day where kids get to play with lanterns and moongaze with family. The lines of the light feature juxtaposed with the glowing moon reveals the crescent at its various phases, a play on the crescent being the glowing element.
